We meet in the first light of 2026.

January moves softly, like the guiding lights of a theater just coming on—never dazzling, yet bright enough to reveal that a new space has already opened. There is no rush to declare anything, no urge to force the tempo. Instead, we return our breathing to ourselves, allowing both body and mind to come back into focus.

This month may appear quiet, but it is the most important time for laying the groundwork. We gather the journey of the past year back into our bodies, letting fatigue slowly settle into strength. At the same time, we lay out the paths ahead one by one—checking each idea, each encounter, each node that is beginning to take shape. They are scattered like small points of light: in rehearsal studios, at meeting tables, in corners of the city, and within our everyday lives. For now, they are not yet connected, but they are already waiting to be woven together.

In 2026, “Weaving The Net” will be the core idea guiding our entire year.

This net is not meant to capture, but to connect—to link creation, performance, exchange, education, and collaboration. It allows dance to move beyond the stage and resonate across many different spaces. And so January becomes a quiet period of preparation: the first lights come on, the nodes begin to appear, everything settling into place while we wait for the thread that will truly bind us together.

This beginning is unhurried, yet clear;
not loud, but certain.

Because real transformation rarely happens amid applause. It takes place in the moments when we return to ourselves and choose our direction once again. When the small lights are seen, when the nodes are set in place, a new form is already on its way.
