Project: Floating Flowers/Little stars/ Heart Break
The 29-year-old Taiwanese dancer Yu Chang started her dancer training from an early age. Following her education, Yu obtained her BFA in dance at the University of Taipei and began her professional career as a freelancer who is collaborated with a variety of dance companies. In 2013-2014, She performed with Chamber Ballet Taipei production, Kaohsiung City Ballet as a classic ballet dancer. She joined B.DANCE and worked with choreographers Po-Cheng TSAI in 2015. Since then, she has been touring at numerous counties, such as France, Spain, Germany, Australia, Russia, Israel among others with B.DANCE signature production, Floating Flowers. During these years, she also worked with Spanish choreographer, Marcos Morau and Luxembourgian choreographer, Jill Crovisier to develop her own language. Yu was mentioned as “one of millennials dancers you must know in contemporary dance” in VOGUEme. (2017). Furthermore, she modeled in the cover story of Bella Taiwan and Marie Claire this year.
